About Me
What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.
~ Jane Goodall
I approach therapy with an authentic spirit and a compassionate, collaborative style. My focus is helping you build practical tools for a meaning-full life. With 22+ years of counseling experience (TX LPC-S#18540), I firmly believe that these three practices create healing and lasting change: curiosity toward our inner experiences, compassion toward our wounded parts, and willingness to truly witness ourselves with kindness and love. But for many of us, that doesn’t come naturally. Guidance and the right tools and practices can make all the difference.
I truly value helping others and trying to make the world a better place. I’m a nerd about neuroscience and the inherent wisdom in our body and our nervous system. I continue to learn in this area and improve what I bring to the therapy space. I admire the courage, curiosity, and tenacity I see in my clients; they inspire me every day.
I love being a boy mom to a college student, reading, poetry, learning, and being outdoors.
